Sanctum started with a simple problem. My wife is an acupuncturist - talented, dedicated, and completely unable to switch off. Evenings, weekends, she was always fielding patient messages. The same questions, over and over. Fees. Availability. What to expect. Is this treatment right for me?

When she became pregnant, the pressure only grew. How could she prepare for maternity leave without her patients feeling abandoned? How could she keep the business running, maintain her reputation for responsiveness, and actually rest?

I built Sanctum to solve her problem. From the very first version, the goal was the same: make it so easy to set up that any practitioner could do it in minutes, and then make it so hands-off that they could genuinely forget it was running - while never losing control of what was said to their patients.
